Practice Description
Elaine brings over 20 years of passionate and dedicated legal counseling and litigation experience to small and mid-sized businesses in diverse industries – food and beverage, automotive, manufacturing and real estate. She has represented clients in business formation, purchase and sale transactions, financing, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution (including complex litigation). Elaine takes pride in being a passionate and interested advocate, taking time to learn the aspects of her clients’ businesses to help them plan for the unexpected, avoid errors and protect the bottom line.
Elaine is known nationally for her instrumental role in saving major market auto dealerships from forced contract terminations, arising out of the 2009 demise of General Motors and Chrysler. Her confident and diligent efforts not only resulted in her clients’ success, but also led to establishment of a Federal arbitration procedure for review of auto dealers’ claims for reestablishment of their businesses.
