Alex Mann joined McCarthy Duffy LLP as an Associate in January 2015. His practice primarily focuses in the areas of commercial real estate, banking and general corporate work. He has experience assisting in the representation of commercial landlords, including national private equity fund real estate managers and tenants, as well as individuals and entities seeking to acquire or sell various types of commercial property. Alex’s general corporate experience primarily includes working with closely-held businesses and family offices to assist with drafting and formation issues, as well as compliance and reporting requirements that these entities encounter.
Alex represents clients in the purchase, sale, and leasing of commercial and residential property. He has experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and commercial financing agreements in connection with the representation of purchasers, sellers, landlords, and tenants.
Alex has experience drafting multi-million dollar commercial loan and security agreements while representing commercial lenders and borrowers.
Alex’s experience working with closely-held and family businesses includes drafting and negotiating shareholder, operating, and partnership agreements, agreements for stock acquisitions and divestitures, and confidentiality and non-compete agreements, as well as assisting clients with compliance and annual reporting requirements.
